I love french fries a lot, but in the area we live we can't get them in restaurants so I want to learn how to cook them.

I love making hand-cut french fries at home. Wash and cut unpeeled russet potatoes into sticks. Using either a cast iron skillet or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 325 degrees and fry to potatoes in small batches for two or three minutes. Drain the potatoes on paper towels while heating the oil to 375 degrees. Fry the potatoes again, in small batches, until browned to your taste. Drain on fresh paper towels, season and enjoy!

I myself love making french fries... They are my favourite. Well to make them cut the potatoes into juvenile shape. Put the cut pieces into ice cold water for 10-15 minutes. heat oil to 325 degrees. Then take the cut pieces out of water and fry them until light golden colour. Drain them on a fresh paper.

The best way to make french fries quickly is to get a french fry cutter, it will cut a potatoe into fries instantly. Get the oil as hot as possible without burning. Soak your fries in salt water for ten minutes and then pat dry.

For a less messy, better for you version you can try baked french fries! Spray a cookie sheet with non stick spray. Was 5 large russet potatoes and peel (or if you like the skin leave it on!). Cut into fries. Thinner fries cook faster. Toss cut fries in a bowl with olive oil and spices of your choice. Spread out in one even layer on your cooking sheet. Bake in 375 oven for approximately 35 minutes. Enjoy!

there are a number of ways you can cook french fries. the most common one is after preparing the potatoes dry them using a clean towel, boil the oil until hot and then put the potatoes in the hot oil. The is the easiest and does not need a lot of money to start

Pile them slice them in strips sprinkle some salt deep fry them. It shouldn't cook no longer then 15 mins top. Pull them out the deep fryer and dry them off.

Peanut oil is the best tasting to use to cook 'em. Use Olive oil if you want a funky weird 'California' health conscious flavor (blech).

Don't use Canola oil as it's weird. There's no such thing as a Canola plant, it's rapeseed which isn't considered healthy for humans.

Corn oil is ok in a pinch, as is sunflower or safflower or whatever it is.
