I want to make some incredible lemonade, anything from scratch would be better than the concentrate I make it from. Any recipes?

I found this recipe a little big ago where you want to melt the sugar into a syrup and really does make the best lemonade. First you need to take about a cup of sugar and cup of water and heat them up in a saucepan verrryy slowly until the sugar melts into syrup consistency. You'll need about a cup of lemon juice this is usually about 4 to 6 lemons. Add the lemon juice and sugar water together and mix well then add about 3 cups of cold water and let sit in the fridge for half an hour. Enjoy; easy enough.

Using the simple sugar syrup described above is the essential secret to making good lemonade. The reason is that sugar doesn't dissolve well in cold water, so if you simply add sugar to water/lemon juice, you'll end up with weak lemonade and lots of sugar sitting on the bottom. The syrup has the sugar already dissolved in it, and the water simply dilutes the syrup. When you make the syrup, you can also add other ingredients, like mint, basil, or cucumber. I've found these really add a wonderful layer of complexity to my lemonade. – Alex Basson May 30 at 10:46

Usually I squeese 5 to 6 lemons, a naval orange (I usually to try to get the least ripe one), and about a tbsp of freshly squeezed lime juice. Mix it all together with super duper cold water and a bit (not a lot of sugar) as I use the sugar to adjust the sourness.

If you're making this for a bunch, give them the basic lemonade (with a bit of sugar) and pass the sugar along just like coffee. Sometimes I get creative, and drop a mint leaf in each cup plus a pinch (well a lot less than a pinch) of cinnamon.
