Chilli can be a good source of fiber if you make it with more beans than meat. Kidney beans, black beans, pinto beans and white beans are all good choices. |

My answer is similar to the post above. Meat, which is usually a chili staple, is terrible for digestion. Beans, also in most chili recipes, are high in fiber. If you want to improve the fiber content of your chili, I'd suggest substituting real ground beef for veggie crumbles - they taste exactly like the real thing. You can find them in the freezer section of most grocery stores. |
