I'm looking for information about probiotics and any recipes that include them. Here's a short list of what I'm looking for:

  • Solid data available about probiotics, online or otherwise
  • A comprehensive list of probiotic food and ingredients
  • Recipes that include probiotic food

Note that I'm not looking for nutritional advice but trying to establish a good starting point for including probiotics in my diet.

Wikipedia is a good jumping off point for information on probiotics: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Probiotic

For a much more in depth look you may want to try this book: Handbook of Probiotics and Prebiotics

Thanks. That book's priced like a university text book, wow! I'll check it out nonetheless though. – Jonathon Watney Nov 10 at 2:26
There are some other cheaper options as well. Just do a search on amazon for probiotics and skip over the diet handbooks. – Kris Nov 10 at 15:17
@Kris, can you personally vouch for any of those books? I'm more interested in a recommendation from experience. – Jonathon Watney Nov 10 at 16:55
