anyone out there know a good spicy recipe for making jerky from deer meat? Next time I go hunting I hope to use some of the meat for jerky

I don't know any specific recipes but you can buy seasoning packets just to make venison jerky. They sell them at outdoor supply stores, hunting stores, and in the hunting section at Walmart.

That all depends on your taste buds. One of the easiest is to cut the meat into thin strips accross the grain of the muscle. Next get a salad dressing that suites your taste. Put in the oven 350 degrees. Place on a baking dish, and brush on dressing onto your meat. When meat looks dry, turn over meat and brush with more dressing. When meat looks dry take out of the oven. Let cool and enjoy.
